One large egg has about 70 calories and 6 grams of protein, along with vitamin D, vitamin B12 and choline.
Lettuce, spinach and other greens are low in calories and rich in vitamins A and K, folate and fiber.
Strawberries are full of vitamin C. One cup gives you about a full day's worth, plus fiber and antioxidants.
Tomatoes bring vitamin C, potassium and lycopene, an antioxidant your body absorbs more easily when tomatoes are cooked.
Herbs add big flavor with almost no calories, so you can season your cooking with less salt.
