Big water. Bright stars. Bigger fish.
Ocean fishing trips, tips from the deck and how-to videos for anglers chasing tuna, marlin, mahi and everything else that pulls hard.

Fish Facts
Bluefin Tuna
Built for speed, bluefin can burst past 40 mph and cross entire oceans on their migrations.
Blue Marlin
The giants are females. Fish over 1,000 pounds have been caught, and they jump like nothing else in the sea.
Mahi-Mahi
Mahi love shade. Floating weed lines and debris offshore are some of the best places to find them.
Moving Water
Fish feed hardest when the water is moving. Plan around the tide change and the edges of the current.
Tips & Tricks
Watch the birds
Diving birds mean bait is being pushed to the surface. Bigger fish are usually right under them.
Find the temperature break
A sharp change in water temperature or color is where bait stacks up. Check sea surface charts before you leave the dock.
Go lighter on the leader
In clear blue water, fish get leader shy. Step down to fluorocarbon when the bites slow down.
