Our programs

What We Teach

Everything we teach is hands-on. Kids plant, harvest, cook, taste and take home what they learn.

Grow Your Own Food

From a windowsill pot to a backyard bed, anyone can grow something to eat.

  • Starting seeds and caring for seedlings
  • Healthy soil, compost and watering
  • Small space and container gardens

Eat Healthy

Real food, simple recipes and kids who are excited to try something new.

  • Building a colorful plate
  • Easy snacks kids can make themselves
  • Reading labels and shopping smart

Natural Health

Everyday habits and time-tested natural solutions for feeling your best.

  • Herbs you can grow and how people use them
  • Sleep, sunshine, water and movement
  • Natural cleaning and home care

How We Teach

Lessons happen in the garden, the farm kitchen and the barnyard at Stargazer Farm, and in classrooms that invite us to visit.

We keep it simple, practical and fun, so kids go home excited to try it with their families.

Who we work with

  • Public, private and charter schools
  • Homeschool groups and co-ops
  • Scouts, 4-H and youth clubs
  • Churches and community groups
  • Families, at our open events
